On the pages of Tuba Dave dot com, Tuba Dave shares his introduction to the tuba, the events that lead him to Chicago, and the forming of Four Star Brass Band. Under Music Education, Tuba Dave shares that he is Band Director at Chicago’s Theodore Roosevelt High School. Tuba Dave took the Roosevelt High School Band to competition at Lane Tech College Prep this year, and the band was honored with superior rating. All together, these experiences exhibit Tuba Dave’s passion for music and his passion for music education. Tuba Dave is the definition of a music enthusiast.
This website is also home to Tuba Dave’s new band More Tuba Please (MTP). MTP is the fantastic duo of Tuba and Tenor Banjo, playing the songs everyone knows and loves. The duo re-imagines the billboard hits of past decades with roaring 1920’s roots music nostalgia. MTP plays the perfect live music. It’s like you’re at the beach.
